Computing:

This week Year 1 have continued with our computing lessons. Earlier in the year, we learnt how to stay safe online and to keep our personal details private. The past two weeks we have been improving our digital literacy by using our laptops to find images and then to copy and paste them onto a word document. It was just like magic to see the images pasted onto a word document. I've attached a few but all will be coming home on Monday. Well done to Eleri for continuing her learning at home and then showing us all her amazing work on Friday. Next week we are starting programming.

English:

We said goodbye to Miss van Hasselt this week and wished her well for the future. The children have thoroughly enjoyed her teaching especially her planning and activities based on our book "Smeds and Smoos". This week, to deepen our understanding of the text, the children acted out how they may have reacted if they were Bill and Janet.
