The Children really enjoyed world book day this week. Here are some pictures of some of the book swaps they did, as well as some phiotos of our new book corner in class!

Maths-

This week in maths we will be revisiting addition and subtraction. We will be using the column method to add and subtract 3 and 4 digit numbers. We will also be representing our calculations using pictorial representations to support our understanding. In addition to this, we will be reasoning and problem solving.  

English-

In English we will be reading the story of Beowulf. We will be looking at character, setting, expanded noun phrases and verbs.
