Happy New Year!

It has been a short but busy first week back at school. 

On Friday, the children enjoyed a P.E. morning and took part in lots of agility activities including: running, throwing, speed bounce and jumping. We also took time to think about how everyone could engage positively in these activities by respecting and encouraging others. 

Maths

This week we have identified tens and units using a range of activities. We will be moving on to comparing and ordering groups of objects and numbers next week. 

Geography

In Geography we started a new unit called 'Sensational Safari'. We began by identifying the continent of Africa on a world map and then looked closely to find Kenya within it.
