In the Summer term we will be learning about the Romans and will be studying the text Escape from Pompeii.

We will be doing Cricket on a Monday and Teeball on a Thursday. On Tuesday group 1 will be doing Forest school (letters to children in group 1 have been sent home, group 2 will be after half term).  Group 1 have one more week of Forest School on the 7th June, then it will be group 2 for six weeks.

Homework

Please ensure you regularly hear your child read, they can change their book in school as often as they wish. We would like everyone to change their book once a week (on a Wednesday). Every child has a selection of books on Bug Club, which I will add books to as soon as your child is ready. 

I will set tasks on Mathletics on a Friday and your child will have a week to complete these. Every Friday your child will bring home a spelling book with five words to learn. It will be words we have been learning in school, please help them practise these and to put them into a sentence. Please return the book to school on a Thursday.

Each child has a login for Times Table Rock Stars where they can go on and practise their times tables.
