Friday 24th September 

Another busy week has flown past in 4C. This week we started a new text in English ("Stone Age Boy") linked to our topic this term. We predicted what may happen in the story and did some work on writing interesting and varied descriptions, including writing a setting description. In Maths we continued our work on Place Value both practically and in our written work by partitioning numbers, using a number line to 10,000 and representing 4 digit numbers in a variety of ways so we get a clear understanding of the value of each digit in a number.

Our Values award this week went to Elspeth, and Sophie was the recipient of the Head Teacher Award for always being a great member of the class and for working hard in everything she does.
