In English this week the children have been finishing the writing process for their non-chronological reports. They have been self editing and improving before publishing their work using the computers. Pupils have used Microsoft Word to do this. They have also been learning to use the internet to carryout image searches to add a photo of a fox to their work. 

During the rest of this week, the children will be planning a story about a fox cub. 

In maths this week the children are learning about area. They will be developing their understanding of what area is and learning to find the area of simple rectilinear shapes by counting squares. 

In science this week the children will be continuing to look at light and shadow. This week the children will be learning more about reflection of light and carrying out some experiments using mirrors.
