PE & Swimming Days: 

Wednesday - Come to school dressed in PE kit. 

Thursday - The final swimming session will be Thursday 11th April. Children should either meet at school at 08:30 or at Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre at 08:45. 

Friday - Come to school dressed in PE kit.

 

Forest School:

This term 5/6C will be doing Forest School. This will take place on a Monday afternoon. In Summer 1 it will be year 6 doing Forest School and then year 5 in Summer 2. Children can come in clothes suitable for outdoor activities (and weather appropriate). There will be further information sent out by Miss Berte the Forest School leader. 

 

Homework: 

  • Spellings - spelling will be taught in school weekly. A selection of spelling words will be sent home on a Monday in your child's spelling journal. Please ensure your child writes an engaging, well-punctuated sentence for each word. To be returned to school by the following Thursday
  • Mathletics – three tasks will be set on a Wednesday for children to complete by the following Wednesday.  
  • Times Tables Rockstars - encourage children to login and regularly practise their times tables. 
  • Reading - encourage children to read daily.
