Week 1
Friday 29th April
This week saw us return to school beginning the new term with a celebration of St George's Day. We learnt information about him in an assembly led by the house captains and then painted our own images of St George that have made a great display.
Our topic this half term is Romans and the children are already engaged in finding out their own information at home as well as what they are covering in class. Our science topic is Electricity and today we had great fun playing with electric toys and seeing how they were powered. We made electrical circuits and some of us even managed to wire a plug.
In Collective Worship today Devlin won our values certificate for Challenging himself this week in all lessons and producing some work of which he should be very proud.
