Geography- Our Country:

Lots of talk today about different features of the UK. We recapped capital cities, national flowers and flags. We looked at natural physical  features and man-made features. Attached are some of the places we talked about. Many of the children are now keen to see the Angel of the North, Stonehenge, Hadrian's Wall ( my personal favourite), the Giant's Causeway and Loch Ness.

English- Emma-Jane's Aeroplane:

We are enjoying learning about the different cities she visits. Venice and New York have been so interesting to discuss and learn about. It has also given us the opportunity to learn about how we use capital letters for place names and people's names. Next week we will be recapping how we form our capital letters.
