This week the children have written their own non-chronological reports about foxes and have edited their work.

In Maths they have learnt to add 1s across 10 by using base 10 apparatus and the strategy of using number bonds and partitioning for example 125+7= 132 by firstly adding 125 +5= 130  then 130+2=132.

In Science the children have learnt that shadows are formed when the light from a light source is blocked by an opaque object. They made their own animals and experimented with the size of the shadows they could create.
