Whilst the Year 6's have been away on their Residential in Wales, the Year 5s have enjoyed a great week in school.

In maths we have been revising telling the time and converting between different units of time.

In English, our work has been based on Black History Month. The children have created fact pages about a black hero from history or current times.

During the afternoons, we have enjoyed an afternoon of forest school activities, recreated Bronze Age and Iron Age tools out of clay and painted portraits of black figures from history.

What a lovely week we have had!
