Week Ending November 6th
We began this week by sharing a new picture book about a character called Little Glow, a candle who visits and observed lots of different celebrations during the year. This links well with one of our ongoing themes.
This week we have been exploring the meaning of Diwali for both people of the Sikh and Hindu faiths. The children have made clay diva lamps and explored the Hindu story of Rama and Sita.
towards the end of the week they talked about fire work and bonfire night safety and described fireworks.
