In English we have been collecting vocabulary to describe our gargoyles in preparaion for writing our Gargoyle poems next week.
Shared Reading- we have been reading and interpreting the poem 'Tyger Tyger' by Williams Blake
Maths - The Year 6 children have been learning to find common factors and multiples and identify primes, square and cube numbers. We have been making use of our new maths's definitions and methods books to make notes as we learn new areas of maths.
DT - the children not at Forest school began their new Textiles unit of study. They learnt about the different hand stitches and joined two pieces of material to make a mini pockets using 3 different stitches.
