Week Beginning 6th December

I have had so much fun teaching 2C over the last 6 weeks. It is great to see how much the children have changed since they were in Reception.

I will miss them all and wish you all a very Merry Christmas. 

We have had a busy week! We made Christmas cards, calendars and hats. We linked the calendars to our autumn 1 science topic of seasons.

​​​​​​This week in MATHS we focused on money. We found the total of different amounts of coins and notes.

In ENGLISH we thought about the features of non - fiction books. We researched information about Kenya and wrote our own non-chronological reports.

Last week in DT we we learnt that fish, particularly oily fish, helps to keep us healthy. We tasted tinned red salmon, tinned tuna and tinned sardines. This week most of us made tuna pasta salad.
