During this unit of work, the children have designed, made and evaluated a healthy wrap. We have recalled previous learning about healthy eating, identified the main food groups and thought about the need for fibre and nutrients within our diets. We looked at the importance of health and safety and hygiene when preparing food. In pairs, the children created posters to show the five steps of food hygiene.
