Our Wonderful World
This week we have continued to read ‘Here We Are’ by Oliver Jeffers.
We have thought about ‘Our Wonderful World’ and have watched this video clip which prompted us to talk and draw someone wonderful from our world.
Wonderful World Walk
We went for a walk around the raised beds and on the edge of the field. We listened to the birds, discovered what was growing and spotted squirrels, magpies, different coloured leaves and a ginger cat!
Reception took their clipboards and pencils out and drew something they could see. We then experimented with using leaves and twigs to make marks on their paper.
I was extremely proud of how well all the children listened and followed instructions during their walk.
During phonics this week we have learned the sounds:

In our maths activities this week we have been matching and sorting.
