Week Beginning 21st September

This week we have been learning about Edith Cavell as part of our 'Nurturing Nurses' topic. In PE, we have been learning to throw a javelin (only a sponge one!), throwing a bean bag using a chest pass and jumping the hurdles. During art, we got very messy with the clay. We found out it is a natural material and learned what it can be used for.

We have revised our knowledge of the alphabet and ordered words alphabetically.

This week we have launched our 'Superhero' topic which we will continue for the rest of this half term. Today, we labelled a superhero using our phonic knowledge to support our spellings.
