At the beginning of the week, we began our geography unit 'Our Country - the UK'. We found out about countries that make up the UK and began to explore their interesting features. A good book to support us with this is 'The Queen's Handbag'. This is a lovely book to share.

We have continued with our plans for designing a 3D Christmas decoration out of clay during our DT lesson. PE was great fun this week. We continued to practise our sequence of movements as superheroes and then we worked as a group of four to put a sequence together. After watching a few examples from our class mates, we came up with some rather impressive group dances.  We had a crazy time in music - ask us what we did!

This week we continued with our poetry. We got to the part in the text where 'up ahead something is not right...' We looked at clips and images of storms and created a group poem with the support of the adults in the classroom. We used our senses to help us plan our ideas before we put them together as a final piece.
