Week Beginning 12th October

Our School Values Award Winner this week is...

This week, we have continued to explore a range of materials in Science. We had lots of fun in the soapy water, feeling a range of objects and describing what we thought they were made out of and why. In PE, we have challenged ourselves in the standing long jump - Mrs Newell thought some of us had springs in our trainers, as we managed to jump so far! The speed bounce was exhausting but there was still time for a relay race! 

We have completed our 'Taking Care' programme with a lesson on who we can talk to should we feel our early warning signs. We watched a story all about good and bad secrets and what they mean. This can be accessed using the link below.

At the beginning of the week, we re-enacted different scenes from Traction Man, wrote an alternative ending and sequenced the story using pictures. We used these to retell the story.
