Comic Relief Art:
A fabulous afternoon of mask and cape designing; new superheroes are born! Watch out Marvel!
Children worked in pairs, threes or on their own to create new names and capes. Designs completely up to their imagination.
This week, the children have been developing their descriptive sentence writing. They wrote sentences to describe the environment of Antarctica. We began reading The Emperor's Egg and learning facts about how penguin eggs are cared for.
The children have been consolidating their knowledge and application of place value to 50.
Our new unit on Outdoor and Adventurous may be indoors at the moment but it focuses on teamwork and map reading. During one activity today, the children had to work as a group to form letters and words. Can you work them out?
Acting out the Easter story.
St Patrick's Day:
The children used their colour blending skills to paint their shamrocks.
