In English this week we wrote instructions. The children's instruction were for how to enter a new country and the steps a person would have to follow. This is linked to chapter 2 in our class text, The Arrival.
At the start of the week we measured and converted meters, centimetres and and milimetres. Then we explored perimetre and area of shapes.
In art we continued to practice our sketching skills and draw self portriats of ourselves. The aim of the lesson was to look at proportions of the face and how and where we would draw different facial features.
In science were looked at the moon and how long it takes to orbit the earth. The children made models to show how the sun, earth and mood orbit each other.
