What a great week we've had in 3A. In English we have been finishing our poems, editing them and publishing them. I have been amazed at the creativity and range of poetic devices in these poems. In maths we have learnt perimeter for the first time and done brilliantly at calculating and measuring perimeter (even if the problem solving was tricky at times!). A highlight has been the lovely painting work that the children did on creating their own Roussaeu inspired piece of artwork based around the jungle.
Reminder that it is parents evening next week and I look forward to seeing hopefully all parents for that. Also, please use spelling shed and bug club to help with reading and spelling. We have noticed it has slipped since before Christmas and with the children going through 2 lockdowns, these are key areas that you can do at home to support your child's learning.
As always, great work 3A, i'm so proud of you all and thankful that we are all back together.
Have a brilliant weekend and I look forward to our 4 day week before the holidays,
