In English, we started the week by finalising our ideas for a Greek Myth style story and made sure that we had a really good plan to follow when we started writing the stories later in the week.
In Maths, we have been continuing to study angles and we have been calculating the sum of angles along a line, around a point and within a triangle. Where ever possible we have tried to keep active by incorporating angle scavenger hunts and shape relays into our lessons.
In Science we have continued to think about Classification and this week we looked at the different types of trees and leaves on our school grounds and had to design our own classification key to sort the leaves.
In geography we learnt about how different types of Mountains are formed. We had lots of fun using different materials and props to recreate the Tectonic plate actions to form the different mountains.
