W/C 30th November

This week, 2C have been making Christmas cards for the charity Kissing It Better, who will be distributing them to older patients at the Rehabilitation Hospital and Homewood Care Home.  We thought this project fitted in so well with our school values and ethos.  As a class we discussed the importance of being KIND, THOUGHFUL and THANKFUL - especially at this time of the year.  WELL DONE 2C - you've done an amazing job !  I am very proud of you all...

Congratulations to this week's School Value Award winner...

With some time in between NATIVITY REHEARSALS we have been keeping on top of our Christmas Greetings!  Everyone has made a lovely Christmas Message for their friends which, the very clever, Mrs Sanghera will put together for us along with some jolly Christmas music for everyone to enjoy in the last week of term.

Money, money, money...finding the difference

On MONDAY, we celebrated ST ANDREW'S DAY and came to school in our house colours. We watched a Collective Worship delivered by the St Andrew house captain and vice captain and later in the afternoon we learnt some more about the life of St Andrew.  Thinking about his life as a fisherman, KS1 created two art displays to brighten up the corridor.  2C made the smaller fish, improving our fine motor skills when using felt tips and glue to add some sparkle.
