Welcome to 4C
Hello to our amazing 4C children!
This website is for Mrs Bown, Mrs Johns and Mrs Patel to share your amazing achievements in school and to keep you and your parents up to date about everything that is happening in school. Parents, if you have any questions, just ask. You can usually speak to one of us at pick up. We just ask that you wear a facemask.
The remote learning section for you can be found below. In this folder you will find information about remote learning and also the remote learning for the week. If you wish to send us your work or have any questions, you can contact us on email@example.com (Mrs Bown) or firstname.lastname@example.org (Mrs Johns). We always love hearing from you and seeing your work.
Mrs Bown and Mrs Johns.
Our Star of the Week this week goes to Keegan for super concentration during our TEAMS meetings. You were focused and engaged during all the sessions. Well done!
Wishing you all a restful weekend. See you on Monday for our maths session. Remember that you will need a pencil and paper.
I will be running TEAMS maths sessions on a Monday and Mrs Johns will be running English sessions on a Thursday. Please look out for your TEAMS invite. There will also be a fun session at 2pm on a Wednesday and a 'catch up' session on a Friday. These invitations will be making their way to you very soon.
Reading- Please note, this section has been updated. (Wednesday 30th September)
Finished books will be collected in on a Monday and a Thursday. New books will also be given out on these days. Please be assured that books will be wiped and quarantined between children.
The School has now subscribed to an online reading resource called Bug Club. You can access this using your child's log on code. Just google search 'Bug Club' to find the website.
Back by popular demand!
We have had several requests for the comprehension homework to be reinstated. Children will now receive a comprehension on a Tuesday. This will be due back into school on the following Tuesday. All children that bring in their homework will be rewarded with 5 House Points.
You will each be given spellings to learn on a Friday. These will be tested the following Friday. Spelling Shed is updated weekly, we hope that you enjoy playing the spelling games which will support you with learning your spellings at home.
Times tables will be set on a Tuesday and tested the following Tuesday. A high score is necessary to move on to your next times table.
Mathletics will be set on a Friday. Children will have a full week to complete this. The aim is to set tasks that will consolidate the weeks learning in Maths but there will also be some bonus challenges set each week for you to move onto when you have completed the task set.
