Welcome to 4C

So it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Frankie and Nell. We have loved having you as part of our class and we will all miss you next year. 4C, you have been amazing! Have a wonderful summer, rest, play and have lots of fun. Year 5 is waiting for you and I know you are going to wow everyone with just how fabulous you are. Keep on being you. It has been a pleasure teaching you and getting to know you this year. Thank you all!

Homework- Please note the change to the spelling test day.

Finished books will be collected in on a Monday and a Thursday. New books will also be given out on these days. Please be assured that books will be wiped and quarantined between children.

Bug Club

The School has now subscribed to an online reading resource called Bug Club. You can access this using your child's log on code. Just google search 'Bug Club' to find the website.

Children will receive a comprehension on a Tuesday. This will be due back into school on the following Tuesday. All children that bring in their homework will be rewarded with 5 House Points.

You will each be given spellings to learn on a Monday. These will be tested the following Monday. Spelling Shed is updated weekly, we hope that you enjoy playing the spelling games which will support you with learning your spellings at home.

Times Tables

Times tables will be set on a Tuesday and tested the following Tuesday. A high score is necessary to move on to your next times table.

Mathletics will be set on a Friday. Children will have a full week to complete this. The aim is to set tasks that will consolidate the weeks learning in Maths but there will also be some bonus challenges set each week for you to move onto when you have completed the task set.
