Home Page

Hello 3A! The remote learning section for you has moved and can be found in the class pages section of the website in the folder called Remote Learning (it's just bellow this message!). In this folder you will find information about remote learning and also the remote learning for the week. Please email over any work you complete, a weekly email would be fine and send it to my work email: We always love hearing from you and seeing your work!

Teams meetings: These will take place every Tuesday and Thursday in small groups of up to 7 children and last 30 minutes. This will give us a chance to catch up, look at what remote learning has been completing as well as a great chance for the children to socialise with other. Please either email work completed or bring work to the sessions so we can have a look at it. Also, bring along a piece of paper and a pen/pencil as we will do a Thrive activity each session.

Look forward to seeing you all soon and please keep safe!

Homework: UPDATED 22nd OCTOBER

Mathletics - set weekly on a Friday. Children to complete 30 minutes of Mathletics homework a week.

Spelling Shed - Spellings are set and handed out on Friday's and tests are on Friday's. The children will be given a chance to practise them in the week with Miss Woodcock or Mrs Medlock.

Bug Club - As a school, we have Bug Club which is an online reading resource for children. They can log on and access all of the books in their book band and there are comprehension questions for the children to complete when they see a bug.

Reading books - Children will be given a reading book on a Monday and Thursday. Please can they bring in their diaries and books on BOTH Monday and Thursday to be checked. If children need a new book, they will be issued with 1 book on a Monday to return on a Thursday and 1 book on a Thursday to return on a Monday. This has been updated so that children will have books over the weekend. Please make sure you do return your books once you've finished with them as they then need to be quarantined for 2 days before they can be used by another child.
